Life is a Show

"I'm just a little bit caught in the middle
Life is a maze and love is a riddle
I don't know where to go, can't do it alone
I've tried and I don't know why

I'm just a little girl lost in the moment
I'm so scared but I don't show it
I can't figure it out, it's bringing me down
I know I've got to let it go and just enjoy the show
Just enjoy the show, just enjoy the show"

Earth Day 2012, Coral Reefs

“It is my sincerest hope that people will stop to look at the windows, stay to take in their details, and leave ready to support their preservation.”   - Erika, via Anthropolgie.

and with that we have the theme for Anthropolgie Earth Day 2012 - Coral Reefs

Back in December I had the privilege of helping my local Anthropolgie with their Winter display.  So.Much.Fun!!!

So, when the call comes to help with the Earth Day display - you smile and say YES : )

I am sure no matter what "theme" for this year would have been -  sad to think there are sooo many causes that need attention - I was excited - we were doing "coral"  given my background, I am partial to all things nautical.

So, a fun day of cutting, gluing, heating, and hourly coral facts

 will get you this...

It's Hard Not To Be Romantic About Baseball

so I guess you can tell I watched Moneyball this past weekend.  I loved it.
I never thought of baseball as romantic, until now.

Derrick from this blog - I think sums it up pretty good.

" Baseball is a very romantic sport and reflects the Romantic in me.  It’s unpredictable, ever-changing and must have blood, sweat and tears in it to progress.  To play Baseball successfully – your moves must be well thought out, but most importantly one (the players, managers, etc.) must love it."

I love that I watched this movie after the Yankees Opening Day - 2012 - with Jorge Posada throwing out the first pitch.  Jorge, is and will, always be my favorite Yankee.

I love that his dad - out of all of the people that could - catched the first pitch.  There is something so special and romantic about the game of baseball.  It is a game that is like no other.

Here's to a great 2012 Yankee season.
